Kerry L. Dooley (voc)

Kerry L. Dooley grew up in Elkhart / Indiana. The stars of his youth such as Marvin Gaye, the Four Tops and the Temptations affected his style deeply.
In 1981 he went to Southern California and founded in1984 - together with the bass player and double Grammy Award winner Larry Fulcher the "Midnight Soul Patrol". With an eclectic mix of styles ranging from Soul, Funk and Reggae to Blues, Rock ´n´Roll and Rap they filled their audience with enthusiasm from San Diego to Las Vegas. Some members of the band also worked with such greats as Rick James, Taj Mahal, Tower of Power, Player, B.B. King and Thelma Houston.
In April 1995 he moved to Munich to start his solo career. Starting, as a founding member with the Band " Soulkitchen " he met the Weather Girls, in who´s band he performed for 9 years as background singer and arranger as well as part-time lead singer. At the same time he is also in demand as songwriter, composer, producer and arranger for many different projects. Also his sonorous speaking voice brought him numerous voiceovers for BMG. 2004 he founded the " Kerry L. Dooley Band " and surrounded himself with the finest musicians from around the Munich area.
